Kia Unveils EV3 GT, EV4 GT and EV5 GT in Brussels
Synopsis: Dit artikel is een samenvatting van content gepubliceerd door Kia Global Media Center op 1/10/2026
Kia EV3 GT, EV4 GT and EV5 GT debuted at the Brussels Motor Show 2026. The Korean brand presented three sporty variants of its popular electric lineup on January 10. For Dutch buyers, the EV3 GT is particularly interesting: the standard EV3 is currently the best-selling electric car in the Netherlands.
Technical specifications
The three GT models receive serious upgrades:
| Model | Power | Drivetrain | Battery | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| EV3 GT | 215 kW (292 hp) | AWD | 81.4 kWh | Compact crossover |
| EV4 GT | 215 kW (292 hp) | AWD | 81.4 kWh | Sedan/fastback |
| EV5 GT | 225 kW (306 hp) | AWD | TBA | Family SUV |
All models feature electronically controlled suspension with GT-specific tuning. The EV3 GT and EV4 GT share their 215 kW dual-motor system with 145 kW front and 70 kW rear. The EV5 GT is the most powerful at 225 kW, equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV tires.
What does this mean for Dutch buyers?
The EV3 currently dominates the Dutch market. A GT version with all-wheel drive and nearly 300 hp makes the model even more attractive for those seeking sportiness.
Bijtelling (company car tax): With an expected catalog price around €55,000-€60,000, the EV3 GT falls into the 22% bijtelling category. At €58,000 catalog value, that means €12,760 per year in benefit-in-kind tax — €1,063 per month gross.
The standard EV3 (starting at €36,995) partially falls under the 17% bijtelling rate up to €30,000, making the difference in monthly costs significant.
When available?
Production of the EV3 GT, EV4 GT and EV5 GT starts in Q2 2026. Dutch deliveries are expected in the second half of 2026.
At the same show, Kia also introduced the EV2, an entry-level SUV with up to 448 km range for the budget segment.
